2.3 This Policy covers Personal Information collected directly on our website (www.sustainablescreens.au) (Website), during the provision of any sustainability information forums, access to third party sustainability tools or other informative services, tools or resources available to users on the Website (Services). The Policy also covers personal Information collected directly from individuals or businesses that provide environmental and sustainable supplies and services to the Australian screen industry that are featured as a supplier on the Website (Supplier).

Any information provided, including identification of individuals, will be used only for the purpose(s) intended and where the intention includes confidentiality, information will be treated as such unless otherwise required by law.

6.1 From time to time, Sustainable Screens Australia may make available resources and tools provided by third parties for users of the Website and the Services to access on the Website, including Albert sustainability tools operated by BAFTA Albert Limited (company no 1316871) with registered office at 195 Piccadilly, London, W1J 9LN and Humanitix (https://humanitix.com/au) to assist SSA in running events (Third Party Providers)

6.2 All data collected, disclosed and stored by the Third Party Providers is governed by the Third Party Provider’s privacy policy, the Privacy Act and any other relevant law.

6.3 Although Sustainable Screens Australia attempts to ensure that the Third Party Providers have extensive data protection policies and protects Personal Information to at least the degree set out in this Policy, Sustainable Screens Australia is not responsible for the data protection policies of the Third Party Providers or any losses, expenses, damages and costs, including legal fees, resulting from such policies.

7.1 Other than disclosure to service providers (explained below) or as required by law, our policy is that we do not give Personal Information to other organisations unless we have disclosed the use in this Policy or you have expressly consented for us to do so.

We will comply in every way with our obligations under Part IIIC – “notification of eligible data breaches” of the Privacy Act. 

9. Retention and Disposal of Personal Information

9.1 We will retain Personal Information for as long as is required for us to fulfil the purposes for which the Personal Information was collected, including where applicable to provide the Services and to comply with legal requirements.

9.2 If we no longer require Personal Information for any purpose, including legal purposes, we will take reasonable steps to securely destroy or permanently de-identify the Personal Information.

10. Access to Personal Information

10.1 You can access the Personal Information held about you at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer.
