At SSA, we're incredibly proud to be partnered with BAFTA albert — the leading screen industry organisation for environmental sustainability, setting the global standard for responsible production practices.
Over a decade ago, albert developed their first iteration of the carbon calculator, purpose-built specifically for productions. Since then, they have been testing, refining and improving the calculator to ensure that productions get a clear picture of their environmental impact in order to embed sustainable practices.
By leveraging albert's proven methods and expertise, we are actively driving the adoption of eco-focused behaviours both on-screen and behind the scenes — eliminating waste and reducing carbon emissions.
Australia has the potential to lead the way in sustainable production practices, and through our partnership with albert, we’re creating resources, tools and workshops to help us get there. Together, we can ensure that the creation of captivating screen content never comes at the expense of our planet.
